NCJWC Celebrating 120th Anniversary in 2017

"Save the Date" | October 21-23, 2017

NCJW Canada and NCJW Toronto Section are celebrating their 120th Anniversary in 2017. Please join us at the National Convention in Toronto, October 20-22, 2017 to celebrate this special anniversary. Together we will honour our past and look forward to our future. Debbie Wasserman of Toronto, will be installed as NCJWC's new National President.

We will be holding a special lunch event, "Reach for the Stars" on Sunday, October 22 at 12:30 pm, Temple Sinai Congregation of Toronto 210 Wilson Avenue, Toronto, Ontario M5M 3B1. Our keynote speaker will be Roberta Bondar, Canada's first woman astronaut, who will share her wisdom, energy and creativity with us.

Human Trafficking Awareness Day

Nathan Phillips Square | May 10, 2017 from 12pm to 2 pm

We are pleased to announce that the human trafficking committee led by Rachel Ornoy, NCJWC-Toronto has been successful in having the City of Toronto proclaim May 10, 2017 as Human Trafficking Awareness Day. There will be speakers and organizations represented at Nathan Phillips Square between 12pm and 2 pm. Other organizations will be invited to partner with us, and the new Provincial Director of the Anti-Human Trafficking office has agreed to speak. This important event will be well publicized and we hope our event will be well attended by the public.
